FAQ

Common questions

Answers to what most owners ask before making a booking.
Is my dog the only one being looked after during the stay?

Yes. Only your dog is taken in at any one time. There are no other dogs in the house during your dog's stay.

What happens if my dog gets sick or injured during the stay?

If something comes up, you will be contacted straight away. For anything that needs a vet, your dog will be taken to a vet and you will be kept informed at every step. It helps to share your vet's details and any relevant health information before the stay starts.

Can I book a stay for a dog with specific needs or a particular routine?

Yes. Before any stay, there is time to go through your dog's habits, diet, medication if any, and anything else that matters. The stay is built around your dog, not the other way around.

How far in advance do I need to book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weeks when demand is higher. A few weeks' notice is usually enough for shorter stays, but popular dates fill up and there is only one slot available at a time.

Is there a meet and greet before the first stay?

For longer stays, a short meeting beforehand is standard. For shorter bookings, it depends on the dog and the owner. Get in touch at sutorisara@gmail.com to arrange it.

What does a typical day look like for my dog?

It depends on your dog. Active dogs get longer walks or hikes. Dogs that prefer the couch get calm company and shorter outings. The day is shaped around what your dog actually enjoys, not a fixed schedule.
